The fence-post cap features four super-white LEDs and a dusk-to-dawn solar sensor that turns the light on and off automatically.
The light requires two AA rechargeable batteries (included) for operation. A square-shaped solar panel located on the top of the fence-post cap soaks up the sunshine in order to refuel the batteries each day. On a full charge, the unit provides eight or more hours of light per night.
The fence-post cap fits 4-inch and 5-inch vinyl posts and 4-by-4-inch wood posts. Made of durable ABS plastic with a weatherproof finish that comes in a variety of colors (black, copper, white), the fence-post cap measures approximately 5-8/9 by 5-8/9 by 5-1/8 inches and installs easily (no wiring required).
