Peak to Peak Batiks

Eric Mariorana is the reknown Batik artist from Boulder, CO who has been making beautiful nature-inspired batik art on shirts, dresses, tapestries, prayer flags, handbags, and just about anything else you can make with dyable fabric.  He’s been making his designs for 20 years and then offering them up at festivals and his website.  We are working with him to create awesome and unique Panic merchandise.

Batik is an art form that has been done around the world for thousands of years. It combines the mediums of beeswax, dye, and fabric to make beautiful works of art. Eric has combined his imaginative drawing with this art form to draw the viewer into his scenes not just to see, but to feel. Once you own one of his shirts, it’s hard not to become addicted to their beauty and quality.

The designs are part of the fabric, so there’s never any flakey vinyl or silkscreen material degrading over time. The dyes hold up similar to the best tye-dyes, and can be machine washed the first day you own it. Some may choose to hang-dry, but they hold up well to a dryer’s heat as well.

If the size you want is out of stock, you can pre-order. Eric hand-makes every one, and depending on his backlog, it can take 1-3 weeks to make.  And, if you just want to create your own design combination from his stock art, you can do that by clicking here.
