Description

The Rapitest 1860 Electronic Soil Tester determines soil pH and combined fertility level in one handy unit. Both tests can be completed in about one minute. Requires one AA Battery (not included). Complete instructions for pH adjustment and fertilization included. The fertility portion of the instrument measures the soil’s Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potash (NPK) content, in combination. The method used is termed conductometrics wherein a 1.5 volt AA battery is used. It gives accurate readings, will not stain hands or clothing, requires no solutions and is factory calibrated to known chemical standards. In other words, it is well adapted for its intended use.
